The pr oton emission from 164,165,166,167Ir ، 171 Au ، 177Tl and 185 Bi has been investigated using the frame-work of WKB semi-classical method. In order to keep the self-consistency of the method we have defined an angel dependent quantization factor which was multiplied by the nuclear potential term. We observed that the deformed mechanism results in smaller half lives in comparison with the spherical calculations. Good agreement between the experimental half- lives and the calculated ones was observed. Good agreement between the experimental half- lives and the calculated ones was observed.
